English Translation
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from Nafi': that Abdullah ibn Umar went out to Mecca intending umrah during the civil strife, and said: "If I am kept from reaching the House, we will do as we did with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him." So he entered ihram for umrah, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had entered ihram for umrah in the year of al-Hudaybiyah.
