حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ حِينَ يُكَبِّرُ وَيَفْتَتِحُ الصَّلَاةَ وَحِينَ يَرْكَعُ وَحِينَ يَسْجُدُ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
English Translation
al-Hakam ibn Nafi' told us: Isma'il ibn Ayyash told us, from Salih ibn Kaysan, from Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to raise his hands level with his shoulders when he said the takbir and opened the prayer, and when he bowed and when he prostrated. al-Hakam ibn Nafi' told us: Isma'il ibn Ayyash told us, from Salih ibn Kaysan, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the like of that.
