حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً وُجِدَتْ فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِي النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَقْتُولَةً فَأَنْكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَتْلَ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ.
English Translation
Ali ibn Ayyash told us, al-Layth ibn Sa'd told us, Nafi' told me, that Abdullah ibn Umar informed him that a woman was found killed during one of the campaigns of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, condemned the killing of women and children.
