حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَقَدْ حَدَّثَ الْحَدِيثَ فَقُلْتُ مَا حَدَّثَ فَقَالُوا قَالَ حَدَّثَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ غِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا وَأَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ.
English Translation
Sulayman b. Dawud told us, Shu'bah told us, from Sa'id b. Amr, who said: I came upon Ibn Umar after he had related a hadith, so I said, "What did he relate?" They said: "He related that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Ghifar, may Allah forgive them; and Aslam, may Allah keep them safe.'"
