حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ الْمُحْرِمُ النَّعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبِسْ الْخُفَّيْنِ يَقْطَعُهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ الْكَعْبَيْنِ.
English Translation
Mu'ammal told us, Sufyan told us, from Abdullah b. Dinar: I heard Ibn Umar say: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "If the one in the state of pilgrim consecration cannot find sandals, let him wear leather socks, cutting them below the ankles."
