حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْعِيدَيْنِ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ وَيَرْجِعُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ أُخْرَى.
English Translation
Harun ibn Ma'ruf told us - Abu Abd al-Rahman said, and I myself heard it from Harun ibn Ma'ruf: Ibn Wahb told us: Abdullah ibn Umar told me, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to go out to the two Eid prayers by one route and return by another.
