حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ نُمَيْرٍ أَبُو مِحْصَنٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَبَدَأَ فَصَلَّى بِلَا أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ جَابِرٍ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مِحْصَنِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.
English Translation
Ali ibn Abdullah told us: Husayn, meaning Ibn Numayr, Abu Mihsan, told us, from al-Fadl ibn Atiyyah: Salim told me, from his father: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, went out on the day of a festival, and began by praying without any adhan or iqamah, then delivered the sermon. He said: And Ataa told me the same, from Jabir. Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Muqaddami told us: Abu Mihsan ibn Numayr told us, from al-Fadl ibn Atiyyah, from Salim, from his father, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, similarly.
