English Translation
Affan told us: Wuhayb told us: Ayyub told us, from Nafi': that Ibn Umar used to go early to the mosque on Friday and pray several rak'ahs, prolonging the standing in them. When the imam finished, he would return to his house and pray two rak'ahs, saying: This is what the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do.
