حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَدَّادُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْوَحْدَةِ أَنْ يَبِيتَ الرَّجُلُ وَحْدَهُ أَوْ يُسَافِرَ وَحْدَهُ.
English Translation
Abu Ubaydah al-Haddad told us, from Asim ibn Muhammad, from his father, from Ibn Umar: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade solitude - that a man should spend the night alone or travel alone.
