حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شُغِلَ عَنْهَا لَيْلَةً فَأَخَّرَهَا حَتَّى رَقَدْنَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظْنَا ثُمَّ رَقَدْنَا ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظْنَا ثُمَّ رَقَدْنَا ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظْنَا فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ اللَّيْلَةَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ غَيْرُكُمْ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Nafi' informed me, Abdullah ibn Umar told us: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was occupied one night and delayed the prayer until we fell asleep in the mosque, then we woke up, then we slept again, then we woke up, then we slept again, then we woke up. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came out to us and said, "None of the people of the earth tonight are waiting for the prayer except you."
