حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنْ يَكُ مِنْ الشُّؤْمِ شَيْءٌ حَقٌّ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالدَّارِ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Umar ibn Muhammad ibn Zayd, that he heard his father narrating from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: If there is any truth to ill omen, it is in the woman, the horse, and the house.
