حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ أَقَامَ بِجَمْعٍ قَالَ وَأَحْسِبُهُ وَأَذَّنَ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ صَنَعَ بِنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِثْلَ هَذَا وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ صَنَعَ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ مِثْلَ هَذَا.
English Translation
Muhammad told us, Shu'bah told us, from al-Hakam, that he witnessed Sa'id ibn Jubayr stop at Jam' - he said: I think he also gave the adhan - and pray Maghrib as three rak'ahs, then give the salam, then pray Isha as two rak'ahs; then he said: Ibn Umar did the same with us in this very place, and Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did the same with us in this very place.
