حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَلَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ الْعَمَلِ فِيهِنَّ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ الْعَشْرِ فَأَكْثِرُوا فِيهِنَّ مِنْ التَّهْلِيلِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ وَالتَّحْمِيدِ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Abu Awanah told us, Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad told us, from Mujahid, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: "There are no days greater with Allah, nor more beloved to Him for deeds done in them, than these ten days; so increase in them the saying of 'La ilaha illa Allah,' 'Allahu Akbar,' and 'Alhamdulillah.'"
