حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا أَوْ يَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ اخْتَرْ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Hammad ibn Salamah told us, Ayyub informed us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The two parties to a sale have the option [to cancel] as long as they have not separated, or one of them says to the other: 'Choose.'"
