English Translation
Abu Salamah told us, Malik informed us, from Abd Allah ibn Dinar, from Abd Allah ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wear a ring of gold. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and threw it away, saying: "I will never wear it again." He said: So the people threw away their rings.
