حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمَا رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى { يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ } قَالَ يَقُومُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي الرَّشْحِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ آذَانِهِمْ.
English Translation
Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Abdullah ibn Umar, may God be pleased with them both, raising the hadith concerning His saying, Exalted is He: {The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds}, he said: They will stand on the Day of Resurrection in sweat up to the middle of their ears.
