حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ عَنْ كُلِّ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَى وَحُرٍّ وَعَبْدٍ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Malik, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, made obligatory the charity of Fitr, a sa' of dates or a sa' of barley, upon every male and female, free person and slave, among the Muslims.
