حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو قِلَابَةَ حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَتَخْرُجُ نَارٌ قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ بَحْرِ حَضْرَمَوْتَ أَوْ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ تَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ قَالُوا فَبِمَ تَأْمُرُنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالشَّأْمِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Malik ibn Amr told us, Ali - that is, Ibn Mubarak - told us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, Abu Qilabah told me, Salim ibn Abdullah told me, Abdullah ibn Umar told me, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to us, "A fire will emerge before the Day of Resurrection from the sea of Hadramawt," or "from Hadramawt, gathering the people." They said, "What do you command us, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Go to Syria."
