English Translation
Isma'il told us, from Ibn Awn, who said: I wrote to Nafi' asking him about the supplication at the time of battle, and he wrote back to me: "That was only in the early days of Islam. The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, raided Banu al-Mustaliq while they were unaware, with their livestock being watered, and he killed their fighting men and took their offspring captive, and on that day he took Juwayriyyah bint al-Harith. Abdullah told me this, and he was in that army."
