حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُنِيبٍ الْجُرَشِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُعِثْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ بِالسَّيْفِ حَتَّى يُعْبَدَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَجُعِلَ رِزْقِي تَحْتَ ظِلِّ رُمْحِي وَجُعِلَ الذِّلَّةُ وَالصَّغَارُ عَلَى مَنْ خَالَفَ أَمْرِي وَمَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ.
English Translation
Abu an-Nadr told us, Abd ar-Rahman ibn Thabit ibn Thawban told us, Hassan ibn Atiyyah told us, from Abu Munib al-Jurashi, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "I have been sent before the Hour with the sword, so that Allah alone is worshipped, with no partner; my provision has been placed beneath the shade of my spear; and abasement and humiliation have been placed upon whoever opposes my command; and whoever imitates a people is one of them."
