English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Ma'mar told us, from Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Abdullah ibn Ubayd ibn Umayr, from Ibn Umar, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Whoever drinks wine, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights; but if he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. And if he returns to it again, it will be a right upon Allah, Exalted is He, to give him to drink from the River of Khabal.' It was asked: 'What is the River of Khabal?' He said: 'The discharge of the people of the Fire.'
