حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَا يَتَحَيَّنَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ طُلُوعَ الشَّمْسِ وَلَا غُرُوبَهَا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd told us, 'Ubaydullah told us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: None of you should deliberately choose to pray at the rising of the sun or its setting, for the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, used to forbid that.
