English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Sufyan: 'Abdullah ibn Dinar told me: I heard Ibn 'Umar say: While the people were praying the dawn prayer in the mosque of Quba', someone came and said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, has had Qur'an revealed to him tonight, and he has been commanded to face the Ka'bah." So they turned to face it, and they turned around and oriented themselves toward the Ka'bah.
