English Translation
Affan told us: Hammad ibn Salama told us, from Asim ibn Bahdala, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh, from Ibn Mas'ud, who said: "I was a young lad tending sheep for Uqba ibn Abi Mu'ayt, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Abu Bakr (may Allah, Most High, be pleased with him) came, having fled from the polytheists, and they said, 'O boy, do you have any milk to give us to drink?' I said, 'I am entrusted with these and am not one to give you drink.' The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'Do you have a young ewe not yet mounted by a ram?' I said, 'Yes,' and I brought it to them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held it, wiped its udder, and prayed, and the udder swelled with milk. Then Abu Bakr brought him a hollowed-out rock, and he milked into it, and he drank, and Abu Bakr drank, then I drank. Then he said to the udder, 'Shrink,' and it shrank. I came to him afterward and said, 'Teach me some of this speech.' He said, 'You are indeed a taught lad.'" He said, "So I took from his mouth seventy surahs, with which no one disputes me."
