حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا لِي وَلِلدُّنْيَا إِنَّمَا مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رَاكِبٍ قَالَ فِي ظِلِّ شَجَرَةٍ فِي يَوْمٍ صَائِفٍ ثُمَّ رَاحَ وَتَرَكَهَا.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Among the signs of the Hour is that knowledge will be lifted and ignorance will become established, adultery will become widespread, wine will be drunk, men will decrease, and women will increase until there will be fifty women under the care of one man.'
