حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَمَّا أُسْرِيَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ انْتُهِيَ بِهِ إِلَى سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى وَهِيَ فِي السَّمَاءِ السَّادِسَةِ وَإِلَيْهَا يَنْتَهِي مَا يُصْعَدُ بِهِ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً وَمَا يُعْرَجُ بِهِ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ فَيُقْبَضُ مِنْهَا وَإِلَيْهَا يَنْتَهِي مَا يُهْبَطُ بِهِ مِنْ فَوْقِهَا فَيُقْبَضُ مِنْهَا { إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَى } قَالَ فَرَاشٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ قَالَ فَأُعْطِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثَ خِلَالٍ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ وَغُفِرَ لِمَنْ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ الْمُقْحِمَاتُ.
English Translation
I went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was in a dome of leather. He said: 'Are you pleased that you will be one-quarter of the people of Paradise?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Are you not pleased that you will be one-third of the people of Paradise?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: 'By the One in whose hand is my soul, I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise. Paradise will only be entered by a Muslim soul, and you are among the people of polytheism like a white hair on a black bull or like a black hair on a red bull.'
