حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى } قَالَ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جِبْرِيلَ فِي حُلَّةٍ مِنْ رَفْرَفٍ قَدْ مَلَأَ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ.
English Translation
Regarding the saying of Allah: 'The heart did not lie about what it saw' (53:11) — he said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saw Jibril in a garment of green silk (rafraf), filling what is between the heaven and the earth.'
