حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَحَمْزَةَ ابْنَيْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْكُلُ اللَّحْمَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَا يَمَسُّ مَاءً.
English Translation
Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi told us, Isma'il informed us, 'Amr ibn Abi 'Amr informed me, from 'Ubaydullah and Hamzah, the two sons of 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to eat meat and then stand up for prayer without touching water.
