حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَبِي مُوسَى فَقَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّامًا يَنْزِلُ فِيهَا الْجَهْلُ وَيُرْفَعُ فِيهَا الْعِلْمُ وَيَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْهَرْجُ قَالَ قُلْنَا وَمَا الْهَرْجُ قَالَ الْقَتْلُ.
English Translation
Waki’ told us: al-A’mash told us, from Abu Wa’il, who said: I was sitting with Abdullah and Abu Musa, and they said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Before the Hour there will be days in which ignorance will descend, knowledge will be lifted up, and harj will increase." We said, "What is harj?" He said, "Killing."
