حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُؤْتَى بِالسَّبْيِ فَيُعْطِي أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ جَمِيعًا كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنهُمْ.
English Translation
Waki’ told us: Sufyan told us, from Jabir, from al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would be brought captives, and he would give a whole household of captives together, disliking to separate them from one another.
