حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَلِمَةً وَقُلْتُ أُخْرَى قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ وَقُلْتُ أَنَا مَنْ مَاتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ.
English Translation
Abu Mu’awiyah told us: al-A’mash told us, from Shaqiq, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said one statement, and I said another. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever dies not associating anything with Allah enters Paradise." He said: And I said, "Whoever dies associating anything with Allah enters the Fire."
