حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ وَقَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لِزَيْدٍ فَاسْأَلْ نِسَاءَكَ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ وَصَوَاحِبَهَا هَلْ أَمَرَهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَهُنَّ زَيْدٌ فَقُلْنَ نَعَمْ قَدْ أَمَرَنَا بِذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ إِنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ وَابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ اخْتَلَفَا فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تَحِيضُ بَعْدَ الزِّيَارَةِ فِي يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ بَعْدَمَا طَافَتْ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَالَ زَيْدٌ يَكُونُ آخِرَ عَهْدِهَا الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ تَنْفِرُ إِنْ شَاءَتْ فَقَالَ الْأَنْصَارُ لَا نُتَابِعُكَ يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَأَنْتَ تُخَالِفُ زَيْدًا وَقَالَ وَاسْأَلُوا صَاحِبَتَكُمْ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ فَقَالَتْ حِضْتُ بَعْدَمَا طُفْتُ بِالْبَيْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ فَأَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَنْفِرَ وَحَاضَتْ صَفِيَّةُ فَقَالَتْ لَهَا عَائِشَةُ الْخَيْبَةُ لَكِ إِنَّكِ لَحَابِسَتُنَا فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مُرُوهَا فَلْتَنْفِرْ.
English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, who said: Ikrimah ibn Khalid said, from Zayd and Ibn Abbas. Ibn Abbas said to Zayd: "Ask your women, Umm Sulaym and her companions, whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded them." So Zayd asked them, and they said: "Yes, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us with that." Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Qatadah, from Ikrimah, who said: Zayd ibn Thabit and Ibn Abbas differed regarding a woman who menstruates after the visitation Tawaf on the Day of Sacrifice after she had already performed Tawaf around the House. Zayd said: "Her last act should be the Tawaf around the House." Ibn Abbas said: "She may depart if she wishes." The Ansar said: "We will not follow you, O Ibn Abbas, while you oppose Zayd." He said: "Ask your companion Umm Sulaym." She said: "I menstruated after I performed Tawaf around the House on the Day of Sacrifice, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded me to depart." And Safiyyah also menstruated, and Aisha said to her: "How unfortunate for you! You will hold us up." That was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said: "Tell her to depart."
