English Translation
Hasan told us, he said Ibn Lahi'ah told us, he said Abu al-Aswad Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Nawfal told us, that he heard Durrah bint Mu'adh narrating from Umm Hani' that she asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, "Shall we visit one another after we die, and shall we see one another?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The souls will become birds perched upon trees, until, when it is the Day of Resurrection, every soul will enter its body."
