حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ حَكِيمٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا نَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ فِي ذَلِكَ الْمَنْزِلِ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى يَرْتَحِلَ مِنْهُ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Wuhayb ibn Khalid told us, he said Muhammad ibn Ajlan told us, from Ya'qub ibn Abdullah ibn al-Ashajj, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Sa'd, from Khawlah bint Hakim, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If one of you, upon alighting at a stopping place, says: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created,' nothing will harm him in that place until he departs from it."
