حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ الْكَعْبِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ قَالُوا وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ الْجَارُ لَا يَأْمَنُ جَارُهُ بَوَائِقَهُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا بَوَائِقُهُ قَالَ شَرُّهُ.
English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from al-Maqburi, from Abu Shurayh al-Ka'bi, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "By Allah, he does not believe; by Allah, he does not believe; by Allah, he does not believe." They said, "What is that, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "The neighbor whose neighbor is not safe from his evil conduct." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is his evil conduct?" He said, "His wrongdoing."
