حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أُمَيْمَةَ بِنْتَ رُقَيْقَةَ تُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَسْتُ أُصَافِحُ النِّسَاءَ إِنَّمَا قَوْلِي لِامْرَأَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ كَقَوْلِي لِمِائَةِ امْرَأَةٍ.
English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, he said: I heard Umaymah bint Ruqayqah narrate that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I do not shake hands with women; my word to a single woman is like my word to a hundred women.
