English Translation
Waki' told us: Muhammad b. Sulayman and Abd al-Jabbar b. Ward, two men of Makkah, heard it from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Asma' bint Abi Bakr, that she asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): al-Zubayr is a strict man, and the poor person comes to me, so I give charity to him from his house without his permission. The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'Give what you can, and do not hoard, lest God withhold from you.'
