English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah told us: Hisham b. Urwah told us, from Fatimah bint al-Mundhir, from Asma' bint Abi Bakr, who said: A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, 'O Messenger of God, I have a co-wife — is there any sin on me if I claim to have received from my husband what he did not actually give me?' The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'The one who claims to have been given what he was not given is like one who wears two garments of falsehood.'
