حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أُخْتِهِ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَلِّي لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً تَطَوُّعًا غَيْرَ فَرِيضَةٍ إِلَّا بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَوْ بَنَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ بِهِنَّ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ فَمَا بَرِحْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ و قَالَ عَمْرٌو مَا بَرِحْتُ أُصَلِّيهِنَّ بَعْدُ و قَالَ النُّعْمَانُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
English Translation
Muhammad bin Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from al-Nu'man bin Salim, from 'Amr bin Aws, from 'Anbasah bin Abi Sufyan, from his sister Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that she heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "There is no Muslim servant who prays for Allah, Mighty and Majestic, twelve rak'ahs every day voluntarily, other than the obligatory prayer, except that a house is built for him in Paradise, or Allah, Mighty and Majestic, builds for him with them a house in Paradise." Umm Habibah said: "So I have not ceased to pray them since." 'Amr said: "I have not ceased to pray them since." Al-Nu'man said the like of that.
