حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ قَالَ قَالَ نَافِعٌ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ أَبَا الْجَرَّاحِ مَوْلَى أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعِيرَ الَّتِي فِيهَا الْجَرَسُ لَا تَصْحَبُهَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ.
English Translation
Abu al-Yaman told us: Shu'ayb told us: Nafi' said: Salim b. Abdullah b. Umar informed me that Abu al-Jarrah, the freed slave of Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, related to Abdullah b. Umar that Umm Habibah informed him that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The caravan that has a bell with it is not accompanied by the angels."
