حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا حَضَرْتُمْ الْمَيِّتَ أَوْ الْمَرِيضَ فَقُولُوا خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ يُؤَمِّنُونَ عَلَى مَا تَقُولُونَ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Sufyan told us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Wa'il, from Umm Salamah, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When you are present with the dying or the sick, say good things, for indeed the angels say 'Amin' to what you say."
