English Translation
Ma'mar b. Sulayman al-Raqqi told us: Khusayf told us, from Ata', from Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that she asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about gold used to bind musk, and he said: "Make it silver, and tint it yellow with a little saffron."
