English Translation
Muhammad b. Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Abu Awn, from Abdullah b. Shaddad, who said: Marwan said, "How can we ask anyone else when among us are the wives of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?" So he sent to Umm Salamah, and she informed him that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, went out to prayer, and she had pulled a shoulder-cut of meat from a cooking pot for him, and he ate it, then went out and prayed.
