English Translation
Narrated to us by Ma'mar ibn Sulayman al-Raqqi, who said: Khusayf narrated to us, from Ata', from Umm Salamah, wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that she asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about gold used to bind [something], or musk bound with it. He said: "Make it silver, and tint it yellow with a little saffron."
