Narrated byto us by Ibn Numayr, who said

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ تَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كُلِّ مُسْكِرٍ وَمُفْتِرٍ.
English Translation
Narrated to us by Ibn Numayr, who said: al-Hasan ibn 'Amr informed us, from al-Hakam, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, who said: I heard Umm Salamah say: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade every intoxicant and every substance that causes lethargy."
