English Translation
'Abd al-A'la told us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Bakr b. 'Abd al-Rahman b. al-Harith b. Hisham, who said: My father and I went in to 'A'ishah and Umm Salamah. She said, "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would rise in the morning in a state of ritual impurity, then fast."
