English Translation
Surayj, Affan, and Yunus told us: Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Ayyub and Ubaydullah, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that he saw Ibn Sayyad in one of the lanes of Medina, and Ibn Umar cursed him and spoke ill of him, so he swelled up until he blocked the road. Ibn Umar struck him with a stick he had with him until he broke it upon him. Hafsah said to him, "What is the matter between you and him? What provokes you against him? Have you not heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: The Dajjal will only emerge from a fit of anger that seizes him?" Affan said: at a fit of anger that seizes him - and Yunus said in his account: what provokes you against him.
