English Translation

Umar Abu Hafs al-Mu'ayti narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Aisha, who said: I went out with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, on one of his journeys, while I was a young girl who had not put on weight or become heavy. He said to the people, "Go on ahead," so they went ahead. Then he said to me, "Come, let me race you," so I raced him, and I outran him. He said nothing about it until, when I had put on weight and become heavy and had forgotten about it, I went out with him on another of his journeys. He said to the people, "Go on ahead," so they went ahead. Then he said, "Come, let me race you," so I raced him, and he outran me. He began to laugh, saying, "This is for that."
