English Translation
Yunus narrated to us: Hammad, that is Ibn Salama, narrated to us, from Thabit, from Shumaysa, from Aisha: that a camel belonging to Safiyya fell ill, and Zaynab had a surplus of camels, so the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Zaynab, "Safiyya's camel has fallen ill, so if only you would give her a camel." She said, "Should I give that Jewess anything?" and she refused her. So the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, became angry with her for two or three months, until she raised her bed (in mourning), thinking he would not be pleased with her again. She said, "Then one day at midday I noticed his shadow, and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, entered, so she put her bed back in place."
