حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُعْتَكِفًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَيُخْرِجُ رَأْسَهُ فَأَغْسِلُهُ بِالْخِطْمِيِّ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ.
English Translation
Yunus narrated to us: Hammad narrated to us, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Aisha, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would be in i'tikaf in the mosque, and he would put his head out and I would wash it with khitmi (a cleansing plant), while I was menstruating.
